I wouldn’t call early sobriety my intellectual high point. And so, despite my willingness, I had some challenges digesting the Big Book and the program of recovery.
Ray, a member of my first, regularly attended meeting, gave me a compact disc with the Joe & Charlie Big Book Study. I played it during my daily commute. Beyond the history I learned, I found that it simplified the construct of the Big Book and program steps.
